Grand Canyon North Rim

Page last modified 08/28/2007

Only 15% of Grand Canyon visitors make it to the North Rim. The North Rim is more remote, has a shorter season, and is 1000 feet higher than the South Rim. In addition, the Colorado River is not visible from any of the easily accessible view points at the North Rim. The scenery is different than the South Rim, but it is quite impressive.
